At the moment we are aware of only one feature: background push notification, that will allow iPhone network programs to exchange data with their servers even in sleep mode. The Installer was updated to beta 3 today. This time, the following bugs were fixed:
— extra info being shown in Page Source;
— the dependencies were fixed;
— commands ChangeMode and ChangeOwner were added to scripts;
— the Exec script was modified, it now recognizes spaces;

The story about the most expensive app at AppStore continues.
Lee5279xx has accidentally purchased this program. He had his “buy with one click” option turned on.
He thought it was another joke, but when he saw his bank statement, he began to ask AppStore and the developer (by that time the app was deleted from AppStore) for his money back.
He was lucky that the money wasn’t already taken from his bank account, just frozen until things are clear.

Cydia has presented a program that allows to hide programs installed on your iPhone.
You just need to set a password and choose the application you don’t want to be opened by anyone but you. You know how it happens: a friends wants to look at it, presses some button, and here we go, it’s a “brick” again.

In 2.0.1 firmware, Apple, Inc. has added the ability to remotely delete “bad” applications from your iPhone.
All you need to do is connect to the internet and your device will address to a special address on Apple’s website and check for presence of “bad stuff”.
“Bad” programs mean the ones that were sold at AppStore but then were deleted from it for whatever reasons.

My opinion:
- Installer became better looking and easier to use due to rewritten graphic interface;
- Repository adding is now more convenient;
- You can download multiple programs at the same time;
- All processes are displayed in a separate Task window.

Hooray! We now have a program to upload custom themes to iPhone 2.0. I finally could have my favorite Buuf2 back.
The themes are placed to /Library/Themes/. But a lot of people at the forum say that they put them elsewhere, and the program still sees them.
In order for icons to display Russian names, you need to rename them according to originals.
