Today is the birthday of one of Apple’s founders – Steve Voznyak. He turned 58.
Let’s congratulate this outstanding developer and businessman. Wish him further success in his sphere.
A little history. Voznyak founded Apple Computer (Apple, Inc. nowadays) together with Steve Jobs in 1976. In seventies, he created Apple I and Apple II computers. Apple II became very popular and was the top sold personal computer during 70-ties and the beginning of 80-ties.
February 6, 1987 Voznyak left Apple. In 2001 he founded the company «Wheels Of Zeus» to create a wireless GPS technology which was meant “to help ordinary people find ordinary things”. In 2002 he joined the directorate of Ripcord Networks Inc., which included all Apple’s “graduates”. In May 2004 he received an honorary degree from North Carolina University for major input in personal computers sphere.
One of his famous sayings is:
“Never trust a computer you can’t throw out of the window.“
