Super Monkey Ball is one of the first games at AppStore. It was shown at WWDC’08 and held a the top position for 2 first weeks. I absolutely loved it after the presentation. But after I’ve read some coomments and saw that it was down to 16th place, I decided not to buy it… Yesterday I went to AppStore in 5th Avenue and saw it live: there was a little boy sitting there who was screaming and hitting his iPhone against the chair after each time he lost. I liked the emotions, a as soon as I came home, I bought the game..
Right away, we need to make the choice: main game (level by level), instant play, practice and options.
After you press main game you need to choose a character. There are 4 variants: AIAI, MEEMEE, BABY, GONGON.
And here is the game. The goal is to collect as many bananas as possible and to reach the gates and not fall into the steep. I need to tell you, if you have trouble with accelerometer or your hands just aren’t where they are supposed to be – you better not buy this game! You vight destroy your phone out of frustration…
The game is great, but the accelerometer is way too sensitive.
