While everybody is using Cydia, Installer 4 is passing the final beta-testing, more repositories are being added, so you, dear users, will be able to enjoy installing the new applications.

Here is the official RipDev announcement:

Yesterday, we acquired all repository documentation requests from all developers. We’ve sent out the beta at night, the beta version has only one feature – the ability to test sources. Work’s on, we are waiting for the sources. When it’s done, we will release it together with Installer (App-Tapp like), so you won’t have to reinstall the firmware.
