Guys, just imagine: the developer company invests a lot of money and effort into development of a game or some other app for iPhone. Dozens of managers, designers, programmers work hard to create and test it. All of them dream about success and popularity of their project, they’ve their heart and soul in it. A lot of times, everything holds by enthusiasm and opportunism only. A new platform, big perspectives, cool ideas. Finally, the project is finished, tested and sent to Apple. Inc.

And that’s it. Nothing happens. Nobody buys it, because they all downloaded the cracked version from the internet for free. No salary, no profit, no future. Basically, it costs pennies, let’s say $10, 200 plus rubles, but the wish for freebies is overcoming. What do developers get in the end? A failed business-plan, financial losses, and the refusal of the company to develop the promising platform further. And users, thinking of themselves as Robin-Hoods of out time, feast on expensive stolen applications and games. They are proud of the money they’ve “saved” and the fact that they spend a lot of time just keeping the stolen stuff running doesn’t bother them at all.

My friends, just answer one question for me. Why did you buy the iPhone? Why spend all these money? Wouldn’t it be better to just steal it? Punch somebody and run away?

Don’t ask for help when your phone begins sending endless SMs on its own, or your contact disappear. Oh, you didn’t know about that stuff? And I’m not telling you either.

All “smart guys” who justify themselves by the fact that they bought a modified (“hacked”) phone, listen! I bought my phone. The manufacturer has received the money stated on the price-tag. I don’t hack the AT&T sim card to get free calls, I just modify my own purchase, and the worst that I deprive myself of is my phone’s guarantee. And when you download a cracked application you steal it. And deprive yourself and Apple, Inc. of many interesting and promising projects. I think I made myself clear enough.

P.S. Did you want Apple to come to Russia? Did you wait for AppStore? Do you want the iTunes store to work with Russia? Are you waiting for iPhone to be sold here? Then do something! Stop stealing. We don’t have the above-mentioned exactly because here for the majority “free” sounds better than “self-respect”.
