At the moment AppStore can offer us 6 types of Mahjong.
The game includes elements of dominoes and poker, and requires experience, good observation skill, and, at some point, luck. Depending on the rules used, the luck (or its absence) can be vital. The classic game’s objective is to get as many points as possible by making the best combination out of 14-16 pieces.
Mobile devices usually offer the solitaire modification of Mahjong, its objective is to take apart the pyramid made out of game pieces clicking on the matching ones.
If you decide to start playing Mahjong, Moonlight Mahjong is a good game to begin with, and here are two reasons::
1)Before installing the paid version ($4.99) you can try the Lite demo with a limited number of levels.
2)The pyramid can be zoomed at, moved, and rotated! It’s very useful hen you need to get to the bottom of it.
In 1949, when China was found, playing Mahjong was prohibited (according to Wikipedia). The communist government wasn’t open to any kind of games, they were considered a symbol of capitalist corruption. After the Cultural Revolution, the game became popular again and is until now the favorite hobby of people of China, including Hon Kong, Macao and Taiwan.
