My iPhone had three jumping suicide attempts. First two were performed by falling off the bookcase during long calls, when I wasn’t there: the vibration had driven it to the edge of the shelf (1.7 meters), then it was just gravity force… It survived. Third time I accidentally wiped it off the table and it flew across the room. Survived, again. But I had no will to experiment any further.
Later on, Egrips manufacturer, producing slip protection stickers for mobile devices came up. The trick is easy: you stick it on the back cover of your iPhone and forget about the slip.

It would be nice to test it in some familiar situation. The drivers for sure have experienced the misfortune of iPhones falling off the instrument panel if forgotten. I chose Mercedes Benz as our testing range.
In Egrips pack there are quite a few stickers of different shapes, so you can basically cover yourself up to the eyeballs with them.

I won’t be this kind of a maniac, so I’ll only use one round sticker (see the picture above)

iPhone and Mercedes Benz
I start looking for the needed car in the morning. The owner of the Mercedes, Leonid, lets me in. Thanks.
I put my iPhone of the instrument panel. It sticks
The friction is achieved by the sticker’s finish. No hook&loops, no glue.

What if i put it even lower? Dead grip. And no mark on the panel.

Let’s slide it to the glidder wooden pane.

Same result.

What is the Egrips made of?
- Top layer consists of the very patented Egrips silicone, which has this special finish and yet is clear. It holds the iPhone on glidder surfaces.
- Middle layer – acrylic base.
- Bottom layer – special glue that allows it to stick firmly to the iPhone cover. Nonetheless, it can be simply removed from the device.

iPhone and iMac
Let’s give it one more shot with perfectly flat surface with very low slip ratio.
What do you think that is? Right, the iMac screen.

Apple loves Apple. The slope angle is about 75 degrees.

Spider-iPhone, huh?
How much?
Info from the manufacturer: this product is new for Russia, and we are just starting off in the market; this is why Egrips for iPhone can be found at Savelovsky Market in pavilions А-9, 45-47, 9-11, П-8, П-2, А-23, Б-12, 36-38 (all of them are located in the rows outside). We put it in for off-take at our price (same as in USA: $13 = 310 Rubles). Obviously, they have their own mark-on, but not more than 100 Rubles, so we come out with a price of 400 Rubles.
